adula tree FLORA — A kind of scrubby tree. Indigenous only in the cold northern climates of the → Great North, the adula tree is a scrubby tree that bears hard little berries during spring (the berries are inedible). Wood from the adula tree is called → layman’s wood and is used to make staffs and crooks that may be blessed by a → khamun and used for protection and/or conjuring. The wood itself is very strong yet flexible.
