Ausrost GEOGRAPHY — A region. The eastern portion of the southern geographical region of → Mor-Thandak is known as Ausrost. It is surrounded to the east by the → Sea of Glass, to the south (along the → Border Lands) by the → Catcher’s Sea, to the southwest by → Carde (delineated by the → Snake River), to the west by the → Barren, or the → Lost Lake, and to the north the → Dial, the great desert.
