Dead Plain, the

Dead Plain, the GEOGRAPHY — A landmark. The Dead Plain is a vast, desert plain that is considered dangerous and possibly cursed. It stands in the shadow of the → Crag in the northern region of → Carde. Much of its lifelessness is due to the salty runoff of highly brackish water from the → Barren, a large salt lake atop the Crag. It is also noteworthy that the Dead Plain, a wasteland of scrub bush, separates the southern region of Carde from the Barren, the → Northern Mountains (known in other regions of → Mor-Thandak as the → Western Mountains) and → Ausrost. It is possible that much of the negative beliefs regarding the Dead Plain is due more to what lies beyond it (the Barren and Northern Mountains, the home of the → Skree) than the plain itself.

Eric Love
I am a story teller. The goal of a story is to move people in some way. Whether with video, words or images and graphics, my end goal is always to tell a good story. When your story is told successfully, it expresses your strengths and the unique way in which you fill a need or want. With every service I offer, I seek to answer this question: what is the best way to tell this story? Showing always beats telling.
