dumas RELIGION AND BELIEF — Druidic priests. Dumas are a type of druidic priest whose task is to perform ritualistic rites and sacrifices, often human. The dumas were found among nearly all the ancient religious sects, so the term refers less to a specific belief system and more to the actual duties specific to their most striking office—sacrifice. Though an archaic term, some lower religious sects still claim some form of dumas, though rarely do these perform human sacrifices.
