Fayelee Rose

Fayelee Rose MYTHOLOGY — A mythological queen. Fayelee Rose, also known as the → Fayelee Queen, was said to be an enchanted forest queen whose long braids of auburn hair were imbued with a magical light, allowing her to rule her kingdom for many ages in peace. However, an evil Shadow Lord eventually conspired to rid her of her hair and, after succeeding in doing so, bound her with leather straps from an → auroch’s back and threw her into the sea (some versions, a large lake) to drown. All hope seemed lost as the Shadow Lord assumed her throne. Depending on the telling, what followed either happened soon after or did so many years later after the land had been ravaged by the dark ruler. However, most accounts say the queen came back from the depths, her very body filled with the magical light, and banished the Shadow Lord on a bridge of rose-colored light. The bridge is often referred to as the → fayelee wand. It speaks of the irony of darkness being exiled onto a shaft of light, on which shadows cannot exist, thus reducing the darkness to a state of nonexistence.

I am a story teller. The goal of a story is to move people in some way. Whether with video, words or images and graphics, my end goal is always to tell a good story. When your story is told successfully, it expresses your strengths and the unique way in which you fill a need or want. With every service I offer, I seek to answer this question: what is the best way to tell this story? Showing always beats telling.
