Glint
Glint RELIGION AND BELIEF, MYTHOLOGY — A religious object. The Glint is a magical talisman believed to have been created by the → Great Witch at the beginning of the current age and is a → joiner that allows the wielder to access alternate realities and influence time, though very little is understood about the extent of its power. The mythology surrounding the Glint adopted the specific beliefs of many religious orders through the years and therefore is difficult to define or prove. However, there are a few aspects which seem to remain consistent and are generally observed as being true regardless of regional beliefs:
The Glint is believed to be kept in its place of origin, a → vaultine forest.
It is a flat, spherical plate, convex on either side, and is about the width of two adult hands held palm up, side by side.
It is a joiner between realms or worlds.
Its exact location is unknown. Its actual existence is unproven, even though it is considered fundamental to many religious and spiritual systems.
