Moon, Drodein ASTRONOMY, CULTURE — High moon. A Drodein Moon is when the → Traveler’s Moon “crests” on both → Sauingrey and → Char-thein (the first day of the week, and also the sacred day of the week for the → Monkshood). It is considered the most powerful day of the Monkshood faith. Drodein is a → lynthian word that means both “death” and “resurrection,” depending on where you place the stress. When the stress falls on dro- the word means “death,” subsequently with the stress on -dein, it means “resurrection.” A Drodein Moon is a very rare occurrence. The rituals that accompany it reflect its rarity, and thus, its vitality.
