Regent POLITICS — A political office. Regent (or the regentry) refers to any leadership or governing power in a village, region or city. Because governance varies throughout → Mor-Thandak, there is no prescribed manner by which the regentry may govern. Equally, there is no standard for enforcing the regents’ rule, but often fighting men, or → pokes, serve in the capacity of law enforcement.
