slip MYTHOLOGY — A cosmic appearance. A slip is an opening in the fabric of time which is believed to allow people to travel forward and backward in time, or across space. The rules regarding slips make them appear unlikely to manage and highly dangerous. Largely, slips are believed to be nothing more than mythology.
