tweeny RELIGION AND BELIEF, CULTURE — Referring to transitional times. Tweeny is a → lynthian term which refers to the “time between times” that is believed to hold magical properties. Daily examples are sunrise, sunset, and the time between wakefulness and sleep. In a broader sense, a tweeny time is any time of transition: between seasons, at the beginning or ending of a storm, puberty, life to death, etc. Though the concept’s origins are lynthian, it is widely adopted throughout most regions and religious systems.
