Domen-Shoo

Domen-Shoo RELIGION AND BELIEF — A religion. The Domen-Shoo are an ancient religion originating in the → Hundrain Islands, or the → ShooShoos, which separate the → Sea of Glass in → Ausrost and the → Galantis in the → Great North. A veiled and secretive religion, it relies heavily on mysticism and rituals. Very little is known about its origins, though legend suggests the Priests of Domen-Shoo, who were said to have perpetual flames of → winter’s bane burning in their temples, were driven mad. Subsequently, they sealed themselves within caves beneath their most sacred shrine on the coast of the northernmost island of the → Hundrain, → Shou-ling. Winter’s bane is still used in the daily rituals of the Domen-Shoo.
