Monkshood RELIGION AND BELIEF — A religious group. The Monkshood are an ancient priesthood who myth suggests were originally followers of the witch → Dal-Reeahs, but they turned on her, leading to her exile. Legend also purports that some of the Monkshood who remained faithful to the witch were bound by her magic and turned to a human-animal hybrid called the → wolfenkind, though only the most superstitious → folken believe this to be true. Though their origins and purposes are widely debated, the Monkshood did indeed exist and may yet have followers.
