razor-bone FAUNA — A fish species. Razor-bone refers to a type of fish that has a fin that is a very strong and sharp extension of its spine. Due to this peculiarity, razor-bone fish are often captured for the sake of harvesting the blades of its dorsal and caudal fins for use as tools or weapons. A school of razor-bone can be deadly, though the fish themselves are not aggressive.
